X-RAYS STUDIES
We use several excellent advanced imaging centers in Boise. When the diagnosis is in question, we rely on this information to better select the correct therapeutic intervention.
We use both St. Luke's and St. Al's, as well as, Intermountain Medical Imaging for this service.
MRI STUDIES
We order MRI studies weekly for patients that have musculoskeletal injuries that may need a referral to one of our excellent referral neurologic or orthopedic surgery centers.
MRI's are used to depict the severity and cause of specific injuries. The images allow doctors to see the soft tissues involved in the injury. They are only ordered when conservative care is stagnant and the possibility of surgery is on the horizon.
