What is Orthopractic?
At Trailhead, we do not practice traditional chiropractic. Traditional chiropractic is a method of health care that is rooted in old philosophies known as subluxation theory.
Subluxation theory is a dogmatic all encompassing theory that revolves around the nervous system. Theorists believe that if the spine is aligned, the nervous system will function optimally and wellness will be attained.
At Trailhead, we have pushed entirely away from subluxation theory and have instead, focused on orthopedic manipulation or Orthopractic.
Our doctors use chiropractic manipulations for the sole purpose of restoring restricted mobility in the joints. 90% of the time, a Grade 5 adjustment is not needed at all to restore joint mobility.
